Lasse Boesen is a retired Danish handball player who was born on September 2, 1978, in Aarhus, Denmark. He represented Denmark in international competitions such as the Olympics, World Championships, and European Championships. Boesen played as a right-wing player and was popular for his fast breaks and powerful throws. He played for various clubs in Denmark, Germany, France, and Spain throughout his career. Boesen was a key member of the Danish national team that won the gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. He retired from professional handball in 2013 and since then has been working as a handball pundit and commentator for Danish television.
